Stop and Go
Most of you who have been doing this a while are familiar with the concept of slowing and getting the bike turned (so you can better accelerate as well as reducing lean angle). On Sunday I had the privilege of sharing the track with a couple of MotoAmerica riders. Check out the safe and clean way this guy gets past me on T11 at Sonoma. I thought he was going to park his bike at the slow point but he gets the bike almost completely stopped and then is able to launch away from the slow point. It did throw me off a little (I normally downshift to 1st gear on a middleweight bike but I didn't with the distraction). It was truly awe-inspiring.
